New Layout Established; Working on Content

The new layout has been pretty well established, and feedback (what there has been) was very favourable. I have started the "Groups" section of the website. The structure seems fairly open, though the content is still quite sketchy. Most groups have a very brief description, from Nick's article in the Knox News, and I added a separate page for Alpha from Tina's information. Gloria encouraged me to follow up with the Board to get information about other groups.

Without a database or server-side code, it is still quite labour-intensive to handle updates. Updates are being done weekly now, based on the Sunday morning bulletin and other information that comes my way. I want to try out some ideas at freehostia.com before talking to the church about investing more money in a paid web host with more features.

The main areas where I see a database or server-side scripts reducing labour are (1) time-sensitive information, which could then be handled automatically, and (2) "include" files, used for building page templates and other reusable parts of a page (such as menus and banners).
